Our name reflects a great deal about who we are.

EMMANUEL simply means “God with us.”

At Emmanuel, we know that God is not some far-off, disinterested observer because over and over we have seen Him powerfully at work changing lives among us. We believe that a relationship with God is far more important and ultimately more satisfying than money, fame, power or anything else this world has to offer.

BIBLE means that we are a people dedicated to the Word of God.

At Emmanuel, we know that God has expressed Himself in a very special way through this unique book. His character, His plans and His purposes are revealed within its pages – which makes it both profound and constantly relevant for daily living. We believe that the Bible is the owner’s manual for life, so we strive to understand and practically apply the Scriptures on a daily basis.

CHURCH means that we are a people dedicated to real relationships.

At Emmanuel, we know that God did not design us to live in isolation. We are social beings who need the support and friendship that only a caring Christian community can provide. We believe that the love we receive from God is meant to be passed on to others.
